Sleep in Phuket:
Monochrome World at Foto Hotel

Located just a good 5 minutes walk from Kata Beach, Foto Hotel is a modern and stylish boutique hotel designed with a “photography” theme in mind. The whole hotel is largely decorated with a monochrome palette, checkered pattern, and elements of marbled tiles! You’ll also spot subtle decors like camera props, photos in jars and lovely quotes. Not forgetting Foto hotel’s iconic checkered teddy bear, where you can spot a gigantic one right in the lobby and subsequently in your individual rooms. Love these sweet little personal touches making the experience in the hotel a rather cozy and intimate one.

Although, do take note that the Foto Hotel is located on a rather steep hilltop so be sure to plan your journey there. If uphill walking is not your cup of tea, consider alternative transportation to get up there!

Ozone Hall

The Ozone Hall is a spacious room with all sorts of features including a day bed/sofa right within the room, a really plush king-sized bed (so comfortable!) facing the balcony and overlooking a panoramic greenery view.

The balcony itself is also very spacious and includes an open bathtub on one end and another sofa/day bed on the other end. Perfect for a cozy (or lazy) and intimate day in.

Of course, the hotel also comes with a private bathroom for those that still prefer to shower with more privacy. While the bathroom is not entire big, the shower section is covered with marble tiles – beautiful!

There’s also free Wi-Fi and as an added plus, everything in the minibar is complimentary.

Hotel Features

One other great feature of Foto hotel is its rooftop pool (Silhouette Pool) and Jacuzzi which is again, dabbled in marbled tiles with a pretty awesome view of the Andaman sea.

For those that don’t want a dip, there are plenty of daybeds, cabanas and sun loungers around the pool so it’s still an awesome place to chill and hangout especially with the soothing background music playing from the Tiffin Mama restaurant that’s located just alongside the Silhouette pool itself.

While sunsets are amazing at the rooftop, the pool also lights up in different colors after dark, which is really pretty!

The overall vibe at Foto Hotel is very friendly and seems to be rather all-rounded and suitable for both couples and families. However, I do feel that the hotel rooms are more catered for couples with its really intimate setting with those open bathtubs.

All in all, Foto Hotel is a really nice and cozy hotel especially if you’re looking for a hilltop stay in the Kata beach area!
