Nestled within Temple Bar, Dublin’s main party/nightlife area with heaps of pubs, bars and other watering holes, The Pieman Cafe is a hidden gem that serves great pies that are both affordable and delicious.
The pie’s crust is flaky, crunchy and covered with a thick, savoury gravy. You can also select from a variety of sides to choose from. As for the pie itself, it’s pretty much stuffed to the brim with a ton of ingredients and stuffing, so it gets really filling after just one pie (even though I probably wanted some more)!
The cafe itself is rather small and quaint and with very friendly staff but it’s definitely a great place for a hearty lunch or a quick pitstop between bar hops.
